As a newly-emerging ecological paradigm in the research of translation studies, Eco-Translatology is a knowledge system created in China, featuring rich content, organized structure and unique characteristics. From the perspective of Eco-Translatology, the translator should take the translation ecologies of the target language into consideration, make selections and adaptations to the original text, and adopt multi-dimensional transformation strategies, among which the transformation of linguistics, culture and communication are of great importance. This thesis takes the Governance of China IV (hereinafter referred to as the Governance) as the object of study, and tries to analyze the English version of the Governance by exploring the “three-dimensional transformation” from the perspective of “selective adaptation and adaptive selection” of Eco-Translatology.
